Our special guest will be Susan E. Reynolds, PhD, editor of Alabama Heritage. A native Alabamian, Susan has been with the magazine since 2008 and officially became editor in 2021. She oversees the editorial content and production of each issue, ensuring a wide range of engaging and scholarly topics.
Susan holds a PhD in English and a master’s in library science from The University of Alabama. Her career has included work with Southern Living magazine, teaching English at both The University of Alabama and the University of South Florida, and publishing in literary journals and edited collections. She is also active in Alabama’s historical and genealogical communities, teaching OLLI genealogy courses and serving as editor and communications director for the Alabama Genealogical Society.
We look forward to an inspiring afternoon as Susan shares her experiences and insights on the magazine, Alabama history, and genealogy.
